Product Description
Fuel Suction & Delivery Hose: a rubber hose for suction and delivery of petroleum products with up to 50% aromatic content to and from main storage tanks and tankers. Construction: inner layer – black nitrile rubber resistant to oils and fuels; reinforcement – high-strength polyester textile, spiral steel wire and conductive copper wire; outer layer – special black synthetic rubber resistant to oils, fuels, sea water, abrasion and all weather conditions. Inner diameter 1 – 8 in; working pressure 10 bar. Standard: TS 9464 – EN 1761 – ISO 1307. Other colours and sizes are available on request. What is a suction & delivery hose?
A hose reinforced with spiral wire that can be used both for suction on the pump inlet and for delivery on the outlet, and that withstands vacuum.
Where is EPDM rubber used?
EPDM performs well in hot water, steam, acids and bases. It is not resistant to mineral oils and fuels; choose a nitrile rubber hose for those.
