Selection and Usage Notes
- For fluids with abrasive particles, hard face pairs such as SiC/SiC are preferred.
- Choose EPDM for hot water and glycol systems, NBR or FKM for oils and fuels.
- Never run a mechanical seal dry; fill the pump casing with fluid before starting.
